01 / Information We Collect

What information do we collect?

KJSynthora is designed with minimal data collection in mind. We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve our services.

  • Non-personal usage data such as pages visited, tools used and approximate session duration — collected anonymously.
  • Browser type, operating system and device type — used for compatibility optimization only.
  • Approximate geographic region (country/city level) — used to understand our user base globally.
  • Any information you voluntarily submit through contact forms or feedback — used only to respond to you.

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or personal identification unless you explicitly provide them via a contact form.

02 / How We Use Information

How do we use what we collect?

  • To analyze overall platform usage patterns and improve tool performance.
  • To identify which tools are most used and prioritize updates accordingly.
  • To detect and fix errors, bugs or broken functionality.
  • To respond to any support requests or feedback you send us.
  • To generate anonymous aggregate reports on platform activity.

We do not use your data for advertising profiling, behavioral tracking or selling to third parties.

03 / Cookies & Analytics

Cookies and tracking

Our website may use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Analytics cookies — via Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our platform. All data is anonymized and aggregated.
  • Preference cookies — to remember your tool preferences and settings (e.g. dark mode, language) stored locally in your browser.
  • Performance cookies — to monitor site speed and error rates to keep KJSynthora running smoothly.
🍪
Cookie Notice: By continuing to use KJSynthora, you consent to the use of cookies as described above. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some tool preferences may not persist.
04 / Third-Party Services

External services we use

KJSynthora uses the following trusted third-party services:

  • Google Analytics — for anonymous usage statistics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdSense — to serve non-intrusive advertisements that help keep the platform free. Ads may be personalized based on your Google account settings.
  • Google Fonts — for typography. Font files are loaded from Google's CDN.
  • Groq API — for AI-powered tool features. Queries sent to AI tools may be processed through Groq's infrastructure. No personal data is sent.
  • GitHub Pages / CDN — for hosting our static platform. Subject to GitHub's Terms of Service.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies for full details.

05 / File & Data Processing

How we handle your files

🖥️
Browser-based processing The majority of KJSynthora tools (PDF tools, image tools, developer utilities) process your files entirely within your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.
  • PDF tools — all processing happens client-side in your browser. Files do not leave your device.
  • Image tools — transformations are performed using Canvas API locally. No upload occurs.
  • AI tools — text prompts may be sent to Groq's API for processing. No file uploads occur. Prompts should not contain sensitive personal information.
  • Finance tools — all calculations are performed locally. No financial data is transmitted.
06 / Data Storage & Security

Security practices

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we do collect:

  • All platform pages are served over HTTPS with TLS encryption.
  • User preferences stored in localStorage remain entirely on your device and are never transmitted to us.
  • We do not maintain user accounts or password databases.
  • Anonymous analytics data is stored with Google Analytics under their standard security practices.
  • Our platform is hosted on GitHub Pages, which maintains enterprise-grade security infrastructure.

While we strive to protect information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to industry best practices.

07 / Your Rights

Your privacy rights

As a user of KJSynthora, you have the following rights:

  • Right to know — You can contact us to ask what data (if any) we hold about you.
  • Right to deletion — Since we hold no personally identifiable data, there is nothing to delete. Local preferences can be cleared by clearing your browser's localStorage.
  • Right to opt-out — You can disable cookies and analytics tracking via your browser settings or Google's opt-out tools.
  • Right to data portability — Since we hold no personal data, this right is inherently satisfied.
08 / Children's Privacy

KJSynthora does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Our tools are general-purpose productivity tools intended for all ages, but we do not solicit personal information from any users.
